How it works
Step 1, at 0 min
Pick a design
Open any design on a phone or a laptop. Every one is built for churches: service times, plan a visit, livestream, giving.
Step 2, at 2 min
Tell us about your church
Service times, what to expect on a first visit, your beliefs in your own words, and a few photos. A short form you can fill in on your phone.
Step 3, at 14 min
See your site
We build it from your answers and send you a private preview. Ask for changes in plain words, as many as you need.
Step 4, at 19 min
Go live
On yourchurch.churchnow.ca, or on your own domain. It stays in your church's name.
Our mission
When someone looks for a church this week, they should find yours, know when to come, and feel expected before they arrive.
Most churches do not have a web team. They have a pastor, a few volunteers, and a site that still shows last Easter's times. ChurchNow gives every church a website that keeps itself current, says the welcoming things clearly, and takes minutes, not months, to set up.
Designs for every kind of church
8 designs, each shown with a fictional sample church. Open one to see it on a phone, tablet, or laptop.
Open DoorsThe church's front doors swing open onto warm light, with the next service and a live countdown waiting inside.
LumenA tall stained-glass window, made from the church's own name and colours, lights up pane by pane beside the order of services.
Week LineThe church's whole week on one screen, every service and gathering at its hour, with a live line that glides to right now.
Start HereOpens on what is happening this week, starting today, then helps people find their place and take one clear next step.
Series WallLeads with the latest message, cinema style, then shelves every sermon by series like a streaming app.
This SundayA folded Sunday bulletin opens on load: this Sunday's message and notes, and what every Sunday is like when there is nothing new.
CampusesFor churches in more than one place: pick a location to see its address and times, each with its own live countdown, remembered next visit.
NeighbourStarts with the question people actually bring: how can we help? Plain-word answers like free groceries or someone to talk to, each with one next step.
What every site does for you
- Service times that know what day it is
- "Next service: Sunday at 10, in 2 days", worked out in your time zone, and "We are live" while you stream.
- A first visit, explained
- Where to park, what happens with the kids, what people wear. The questions newcomers are too shy to ask.
- Livestream and sermons
- Your YouTube or Zoom, the latest message, and past series in one place.
- Events that tidy themselves up
- Add a date once. It shows on the day and disappears when it is over.
- Private prayer requests
- A form that goes straight to your pastor or prayer team. Never shown on the site.
- Giving, through your own provider
- A clear Give button that points to the service you already use. We never handle money.
- Time zones, handled
- For churches that pray together across countries, every time shows in each visitor's own clock.
- Made for phones, open to everyone
- Fast on any phone, readable for older eyes, and usable with a screen reader or keyboard.
Already live: CHRiST-centered Community
A community that prays together every weekday on Zoom, from Canada, the USA, the UK, Nigeria and Australia. Their site shows every gathering in each visitor's own time, daily confessions, private prayer requests, and a map of where they join from.
Visit their siteQuestions
Do we need any technical skills?
No. You answer questions about your church; we build the site. Later changes are a message in plain words.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. Bring the one you have, or start on yourchurch.churchnow.ca and move later. The domain stays in your name.
Who writes our beliefs and our story?
You do. We use your words as you give them, and never write your statement of faith for you.
Do you take donations for us?
No. Your Give button links to your own giving provider, so the money never passes through us.
We meet online, or in a home. Is that fine?
Yes. Sites work without a street address, and can show times across time zones.
Ready when your church is.
Have your service times and a few photos handy. The rest takes under 20 minutes.
